Watching a sunrise might be a pleasant tranquil experience here on Earth, but the surface of the Sun itself is actually incredibly loud. The Sun is essentially covered in the fires of nuclear fusion at all times. One campfire can crackle, and an entire star on fire roars.
The only reason we don’t hear any of those roaring fusion flames is because mechanical sound waves can’t travel through the vacuum of space. On Earth sound travels through air or water to reach one’s ears, and there isn’t any of that in space for the sounds of the Sun to be able to reach us. Which is good, because even as far away from the Sun as we are, the Sun is so loud that it would still be the volume of a rock concert from Earth’s position if we could hear it.
